The Republican theory of chaos has four operating principles:

1. First, pick a controversial topic and polarize opinions.
2. Position yourself as the oppressed and paint the other side as the villainous oppressors.
3. Stay on the attack.
4. Never accept a mistake.

In version 2.0 of the Goebbels strategy, you not only lie, but you also lie together as a group. You arrange so many lies on top of each other while placing half-truths and full truths in the middle. Make it extremely hard to differentiate a lie from the truth.

Part of the GOP’s ability to lie without impunity must be attributed to the democratic party. In democratic wisdom, you are not supposed to engage the opposition propaganda. You ignore the lies and focus on your talking points. You expect people to figure it all out on their own.
