In Virginia, Republican Glenn Youngkin defeated Democrat Terry McAuliffe by a margin of 2.5%. In New Jersey, Democrat Phil Murphy defeated Republican Jack Ciattarelli by 2.3%.

The difference wasn’t just 0.2% between the two races. It was the difference between Saddam Hussein and Barack Obama.

Democrat Terry McAuliffe conceded the race:

Congratulations to Governor-Elect Glenn Youngkin on his victory. I hope Virginians will join me in wishing the best to him and his family. — Terry McAuliffe

Republican Jack Ciaterelli says he did not lose:

You can report any perceived or real irregularity to the voter integrity hotline set up by the NJGOP — Jack Ciattarelli

He also added he would not concede “until every legal vote is counted,” insinuating he is currently staring at a loss because of illegal votes. So take that, America, because this is what you asked for, isn’t it?
