Sometimes, not always.

Sometimes, I do feel for the Republicans.

The distance they travel to attract power is unbelievable. They helped build an extraordinary media empire that thrives on sewage. They methodically designed a strategy to filter the opposition votes at the margins.

Then in 2020 they unleashed gerrymandering version 2.0 trial.

What’s the big deal about getting the legislature to decide which party best represents the will of the American people when you can pack voters into convenient districts and win an election?

These are people who are truly hungry for power, unlike the lazy and most of the time confused democrats. Politics for the GOP is not about participation. It is about the hunger for power. The Republican party’s hunger has grown exponentially since Newt Gingrich, no doubt about it.

That’s why I sometimes feel sorry for them.

Mitch McConnell was absolutely correct when he said candidate profiles matter. The MAGA has corrupted the Republican candidate field. As a result, GOP looks like a overcooked meal — unpalatable.
