Glenn Youngkin melts down in the last stretch
A 1987 novel may trigger the end of his campaign
The GOP candidate for governor in Virginia, Glenn Youngkin, masterfully held his nerve throughout his campaign, only to lose it with little time left on the clock.
He must have lost his nerve and probably the governor's race with it. His opponent's slim 1.5% point lead must have annoyed the GOP candidate so much he decided to risk it all.
A colossal mistake.
You can measure a man's character by the choices he makes under pressure
Glenn Youngkin has accidentally revealed who he is — Trump with makeup.
"A new online advertisement released this week by Glenn Youngkin, the Republican candidate, features a mother who pushed to have Toni Morrison's "Beloved" banned from her son's English curriculum eight years ago, citing the book's graphic scenes."
In 1988, Morrison won the Pulitzer Prize for Beloved (1987)
White nationalists hate Toni Morrison and her books because she vividly covered the brutality of slavery. So they try and ban her books at every available opportunity. Freedom of speech is only available for late-night talk show hosts.
