The final American redline, which had been protecting Russian warplanes and military assets within Russia, has been crossed.

Iran’s supply of ballistic missiles to the Kremlin has eliminated any lingering hesitation on Capitol Hill, as a bipartisan group of Republican and Democratic members of Congress has publicly rallied to relax restrictions on Ukraine’s use of long-range weapons within Russia.

It is done.

In an interview with Juliegrace Brufke of Axios, House Foreign Affairs Chairman Michael McCaul announced this stunning development: “I talked to Blinken two days ago, and he is traveling with his counterpart from the UK to Kyiv to basically tell them that they will allow them [to hit Russia with ATACMS]”

Due credit goes to the members of Congress who wasted no time speaking out publicly once U.S. officials confirmed that Iran had supplied ballistic missiles to Russia. This confirmation came from the highest levels within the Biden administration, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
