I agree with you that we should not bomb the wealthy. And don’t buy into the left plan of just increasing taxes on the wealthy way past 50%. I just want the loophole between income and wealth to be bridged. You cannot deduct taxes at source for the middle class while allowing the accountants to build complex schemes to lower the effective tax burden of billionaires. A simple minimum tax would be a great place to start.
