Why Mark Kelly Is the Best Choice for Vice President
He has something that no one else has.

It is the only weakness that has the potential to create enormous harm. Donald Trump’s campaign will focus on illegal immigration and portray Kamala Harris as an extension of the failed Biden administration’s policies on managing illegal immigration.
The fact that President Biden tried to pass a bipartisan bill to stem illegal immigration but was thwarted by none other than the MAGA emperor will not be heard by the MAGA crowd, which has come to view obstruction as a winning strategy in elections. To them, power takes precedence over everything, including their own party.
Immigration is an issue that resonates across the United States, and with little else to discuss, Trump’s campaign needs a strong attack line. Illegal immigration will be that line. Kamala Harris needs to select a running mate whose profile will enable her to counter these attacks effectively.
Arizona Senator Mark Kelly is uniquely positioned to provide that counter. For one, Kelly acknowledges that his own party has failed to fully understand the issue, which is advantageous for the Democratic Party. Having someone who can identify their own mistakes and clearly explain a path forward is valuable.
