But when you use the word smart, then people are going to naturally think you are talking about the guided shells. Which offer pin point accuracy and extended range.

A small portion of these shells are guided ones. Example is the German made 155mm Vulcan. Germany has been shipping them in the hundreds at a time. Ukraine carefully uses these shells. Only for high value targets.
