The Math is way too hard to beat

For decades, the lone star state has been the fool's gold for the democrats. Unfortunately, the vastness of the Texan landscape combined with the Floridian ability to drink money can lay waste to democratic campaigns.

Except for maybe one candidate in the country — Beto O'Rourke.

Not just Beto. Any Democrat who wins the governor's mansion in Texas will have access to this route.

I want to take a minute to thank author Steve Taylor for bringing this route to our attention. Full credit to Steve for opening this topic for us. You can follow him here.

2022 Midterms

I have no idea who will win the 2022 midterms.

Before the Nov 21 twin gubernatorial races in Virginia and New Jersey, I firmly believed the House was Republicans to lose, and the Senate was Democrats to lose. However, I am not confident of the forecast now.

Midterms generally see higher turnout from educated Americans. Therefore, Democrats must either hold on to their vote share with educated Americans or increase it to win the 2022 midterms.
