Steve Bannon Dares GOP’s Elite. Good.
Time to wish him the best
Spoiler Alert: This is not an article about GOP eating itself alive. The Grand Old Party is eating democracy alive. Not the party.
A fracture is inevitable. Our brain raps like Eminem on full volume. We point our fingers at the power struggle between the Trump camp and moderate GOP. Some said Trump would start a new party after the Jan 6th insurrection. Some said the moderates would break out to start a new party.
Nothing happened.
We watch GOP senators pile on the conspiracy theories and tell ourselves nobody buys this nonsense. But apparently, there are millions.
- Donald Trump topped up his 2016 figures with 11,231,326 votes in 2020.
- 1 out of every 3 Americans with a post-graduate degree trusted the man who suggested injecting bleach as COVID treatment to lead the country for four more years.
- More than 1 out of every 3 Hispanic Americans wanted the wannabe dictator who believes Mexico is sending “rapists” to stay in the White House.
Most of us hang our heads in shame. We secretly want this nightmare to end. We want the moderate Republicans to vanquish extremist GOP. We find solace in discussing GOP implosion.
