Thanks for sharing your thoughts Donna. I think I understand where you are coming from.

Truth be told, when Trump got elected I had a small hope that he will bring some change that we all desperately seek. I had my doubts, but as a fool I thought at the very least he will do something for the country.

But he has proven it beyond any doubt that the only thing that he cares about is him. And he will mortgage the country if needed to achieve that. For all the complain be lodges against WHO, he let the US be without any representation in WHO for nearly 36 months I believe. The US pays the most and had nobody to represent itself in the world body.

What authority will WHO, that has no US representation would have on CHINA to get them to heed? The world should actually be blaming the US for making the WHO toothless and in the process let this virus spread all over.

I sat on the sidelines for a long time. But the rate at which people are losing lives made it clear to me that I wont forgive myself I keep my mouth shut.

And lets not hate anyone who has voted for Trump in 2016 and who will vote for him in 2020. These are people who are concerned about the country as much as anyone. Politicians and certain sections of the media keep pushing narratives that's convenient for them at the cost of the country and we have all become collateral damage. The media outlet/s wants to make money and its no different from Trump.

No one I believe wants to set the US on a downward slope, except for the Russian government and Chinese Communist Party. And both countries would be happy to see Trump in DC.

Deeply sorry for the rant. You thoughts got me going.

Thanks
