Either they can attack China, or they can attack Biden’s Infrastructure bill
Yup.
The right-wing has to make up its mind. They can either go after China, or they can go after Biden’s planned infrastructure spending.
They cannot do both.
They have had the cake and eaten it in the past. But they cannot do it this time.
The bi-partisan infrastructure bill that some Republican senators called out as massive deficit spending is half a peanut compared to China’s infrastructure spending.
In just 365 days, as the world recoiled in the pandemic, China poured $8 trillion into its infrastructure. It’s a clever ploy to soften the pandemic-induced recession. In comparison, the United States spent a paltry $146 billion on its infrastructure.
Let me rephrase a bit here.
The $22 trillion economy spent $146 billion on its infrastructure, while the second-placed $16 trillion economy spent $8000 billion on its infrastructure.
14.6 for every 800.
Anyone who finds the United States in the following chart deserves an award. Top 20% in infrastructure spending or bottom 20%?
