This GOP Will Not Get Tired of Losing
The Hunt for Red Wave
Well. Well. Well.
In less than 24 hours, the national media shifted its focus from writing about the strength of the red wave to writing about the wisdom behind the red wave.
Nifty.
If you are a Democrat, then there is every reason to be optimistic regarding the results, regardless of how they turn out. You can be even more optimistic about the future. When the Democrats underperformed in the final stretch, a lot of the blame was placed on the feet of President Biden and the administration in general.
There was some element of truth to it.
The midterms were supposed to be a referendum.
Americans are never satisfied with what they get because they always believe what has been done wasn’t enough. They blame the ruling party for not doing enough in two years and give them marching orders during the midterms.
They will create gridlock in Washington, D.C.
Two years later, they will blame the opposition for not delivering what they were supposed to deliver. They will vote for the man who lives in the White House. This is why the midterms were always a disaster for the ruling party, but presidents rarely lost to the opposition.
