Trump is Seriously Considering a Run in 2024
He may be telling us the truth
Donald Trump absolutely knows the answer to 2024. He can’t reveal it yet.
“I can’t reveal it yet, but I absolutely know my answer. And we’re gonna do very well, and people are gonna be very happy,” Donald Trump told Maria Bartiromo earlier this week. Enough bread crumbs to send his true-believer base into a tizzy.
Donald Trump and the GOP told us they were a match made in heaven.
Trump signed off on a long list of conservative priorities, from packing the courts around the country to clearing the corporate tax cut. In return, the GOP looked the other way when Trump disparaged American institutions, vilified national media, spouted conspiracy theories, sacrificed national security by collapsing international alliances, and positioned himself as the sole protector of the country.
But the marriage of convenience did not last long. It quickly disintegrated after Trump lost the White House.
From Ron DeSantis to Greg Abbott, GOP candidates eyeing the 2024 Republican presidential nomination want the MAGA base to turn the Trump page. Trump wants to keep the base on a tight leash.
Trump will never rule himself out of 2024.
