HIMARS strike leaves 400 dead and 300 injured
The Russian milbloggers, (milblogs are generally run by ex.military service members who write about the war) are raging in anger. Some of them attacked the Russian military command for making it easy for Ukrainians to attack by densely packing so many soldiers in one place.
Some correctly pointed out the stupidity of the Russian military geniuses who chose a vocational school just 13km from the frontline to board hundreds of soldiers. They made Ukraine's job a bit more easier by storing military equipment at the same place. We can reasonably assume that they might have even stored some ammunition in the same spot.
With so many soldiers packed in one place, there is an extremely high likelihood that some were on their mobiles phones. Now, look at the whole thing from the Ukrainian perspective.
You are tracking the movement of mobile data, trying to figure out where the enemy is. And you find a huge amount of data moving back and forth from a small area. You realize it is well within the range to attack. You fire. The bomb hits the target. There is military equipment stored in the spot.
