Two days. Three centralized weapons storage facilities. More than 30,000 tonnes of ammunition vaporized. That’s more than four months’ worth of battlefield ammunition gone up in smoke, according to Estonian intelligence officials

“This is part of Ukraine’s victory strategy. In two days, Russia has lost the ammunition capacity to wage an intense war for four months”, wrote Marko Mihkelson, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs committee of Estonian Parliament.

On Thursday night, Ukrainian forces conducted a highly successful drone strike on Russian ammunition storage facilities in Torpets, Tver Oblast. On Friday night, they successfully targeted a Russian ammo depot in Tikhoretsk, Krasnodar Krai, and another depot at Oktyabrsky, Tver Oblast.

Two days. Three facilities.

The Russian ammunition depot outside Tikhoretsk, in Krasnodar Krai, is particularly significant.
