Yes. For a while I had said that the bridge is worth more when left standing. But that assessment changed after Ukraine destroyed/damaged the three ferries Russia was using.
They are a valuable target now. The bridge needs to be knocked out at the right time. The best time would be when Ukraine starts punching through either the kherson lines or the zaphorizhzhia lines in southern ukraine. You start breaking the lines and then you bring down the bridge to suffocate the logistics. You can also do it the other way around. but either way it has to be done when Ukraine feels the time is right for a punch in the south. Until that happens, the bridge has to stay.
